Which road? I took the river.

When you come to a point where you have to choose which path to go to, how much time would it take you to choose? How much consideration?

Do you take the one where successful people you know have taken? That may only be the first path they took and what comes after you do not know.

Maybe the one people say you should take? "Such a shame," they said. "For this road may suit you well." But would it really?

I ditched both the roads, and just decided to go into the river. Lets just go with the flow shall we?

At one point, I took a moment before I stepped into that river. Wondering what if. What if those roads may make a better me. A better opportunity may lie there, a better outcome.

But then again, why bother about the "what if's".

Look not back at the roads that you did not take. Don't regret something you've already chose to forgo. Instead, be glad of where you are and where you are headed as many more roads will come before you over and over again.

Waste not the moments where you can be just happy.

Smile.

And say, "This is me."

  1. Indeed. Forget that what ifs and what nots. No looking back, and certainly no regrets less you let the past control you. Just enjoy the NOW fully. No road/path is wrong per se. If you chose it, then it had to be right for you then. And if it no longer is right now - you always have the option to switch and move on. There is always always a choice. As they say, it is never too late to dream a new dream. So good for you! I, for one, am glad you chose the path(s) you too. For in one of these at least, I got to know you. And for that I am blessed. :)
